We’re Nick and Sky, and for us, the Northern Oregon Coast isn’t just where we work—it’s the place that raised us. Our story with Netarts Bay goes back generations, rooted in childhood memories of hunting for agates with our great-grandparents, crabbing and fishing on the water, and building sandcastles along the shore.

After raising our three kids in this salty air, we decided to channel our lifelong love for the coast into something we could share with you. When we aren't at the motel, you’ll likely find us running our local contracting business, crafting small-batch organic goods at Lucky Bear Soap Co., or tending to our four-acre rescue farm, Cedar Bark Ranch. Our lives are happily shared with a crew of rescued dogs, cats, goats, and our legendary Jersey bull, Lucky Bear (who’s been the heart of the farm since we rescued him in 2009).

As the builders and operators of Netarts Peace Out, we designed this space to be a sanctuary not just for our guests, but for the incredible wildlife that calls this property home. Don't be surprised if you share your morning coffee with the deer and bunnies grazing nearby, or catch a glimpse of Great Blue Herons and Snowy Egrets flying overhead. If you look toward the treeline, you’ll often see Bald Eagles keeping watch over the bay.

We’ve poured our local pride into every corner of this retreat, creating a peaceful home base where you can truly "Peace Out" and reconnect with the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast.
